The Website Management tab in the Landscape Admin Settings provides admins with tools to manage and analyze all the websites tracked within their landscape. This screen allows admins to view details of each website, add websites to gather keywords, and export or filter data for further analysis.
What You Can Do in the Website Management Tab
View Website Details:
Each row represents a website currently tracked in the landscape.
Key details include:
Domain Authority (DA): Provided by Moz, this metric indicates the relative strength of a domain's backlink profile.
Keywords: The total number of keywords tracked for the domain.
URLs Found: The number of URLs discovered within the tracked domain.
Date Found: The date SiteCurve first detected the domain in the landscape.
Export Data:
Admins can export the full list of websites into a CSV file for offline analysis or reporting.
Filters for Easy Navigation:
Use filters to quickly find specific websites based on:
Domain Name
Domain Authority
Number of Keywords
URLs
Date Found
Add Websites to a Landscape:
By clicking the "Add Websites" button, admins can start the landscape creation flow, entering directly into the Add Website step. This is useful when you don’t know the exact keywords to track but know which domains are important.
Steps include:
Input one or multiple domain names (or URLs of domain)
Specify the number of keywords you want to track for each domain or URL.
SiteCurve will fetch the top keywords by traffic for these domains using the DataForSEO.
Keywords gathered from these domains will then be added to the landscape.
How Keywords from Added Websites Work
When keywords are gathered from added websites:
Keywords Allocation: Keywords gathered are immediately counted against your account’s keyword allocation.
Next-Day Tracking: The data for the new keywords will start appearing the next day.
No Historical Data: Keywords added via this process begin tracking from the date they are added, so no historical data is available.
Best Practices for Managing Websites in Landscapes
Choose Key Websites Strategically:
Use websites that represent your competitive landscape or target industry to identify critical keywords and trends.
For example, adding websites of direct competitors or major industry players can help you surface high-value keywords that matter for your goals.
Export for Deeper Analysis:
Export the list of websites to share with your team or analyze further.
Be Thoughtful with Keyword Usage:
Keep in mind that the number of keywords gathered from websites directly impacts your overall keyword allowance. Adding too many low-value domains could dilute the focus of your landscape.
Avoid Frequent Changes:
Removing websites and their associated keywords will delete all historical data. Frequent additions or deletions could disrupt the continuity of your landscape’s insights.
Check Keywords Added
You can check to see which keywords were added from the domains the next day by going to keyword management and sorting by newwest to oldest.
