SiteCurve implements a two-role system within accounts: Administrators (Admins) and Members. Each role has distinct permissions and capabilities that determine what actions users can take within the platform.
Administrator Role
Administrators have comprehensive control over the account and exclusive access to the Account Settings section. Through Account Settings, admins can manage all aspects of the account including inviting new users, assigning roles, removing members, and changing the account name. They also have the authority to delete the account if needed.
In terms of billing and subscriptions, administrators can manage payment methods, view invoices, and make changes to subscription plans. This includes the ability to switch between monthly and annual billing, and cancel any paid landscape subscriptions that account members have joined.
Landscape management is another key responsibility of administrators. They automatically receive admin access to all landscapes created within the account and can create or delete any landscape. This allows them to maintain oversight of all content created under the account. Administrators can also monitor keyword usage across all landscapes to ensure the account stays within its subscription limits.
Administrators can view detailed statistics about account usage, including the number of landscapes each member has created or joined, portfolio creation statistics, and member keyword usage.
Member Role
Members do not have access to the Account Settings section or any billing information. They cannot view account-wide usage statistics or manage other users.
What members can do depends on the account's subscription level. In paid accounts (Business or Enterprise), members can create new landscapes using the account's keyword allowance and join paid landscapes using the account's payment method. They have access to all premium features included in the account's subscription level.
All members, regardless of the account type, can access SiteCurve data and analytics for landscapes they have permission to view. They can create portfolios and join existing landscapes that are available to them.
Multiple Account Membership
SiteCurve allows users to belong to multiple accounts simultaneously. A user might be an administrator in one account while being a member in others. Each account maintains separate permissions and access levels, and users can easily switch between accounts using the account switcher in the profile menu dropdown.
