The Notifications tab in the Landscape Admin Settings allows landscape admins to control how they receive updates related to activity in the landscape.

These settings are personal to the admin and do not affect how members experience notifications within the landscape. Notifications ensure admins stay informed about key developments but also provide flexibility to focus only on what’s most important.


Notification Categories

  1. Weekly Summaries via Email

    • Weekly summary of discussion activity: Recaps all posts and comments within the landscape over the last 7 days.

    • Weekly summary of landscape alerts: Summarizes all triggered alerts (default and custom) in the landscape for the past week.

    • Toggle Options:

      • Admins can turn these summaries on or off.

      • Delivery Methods: Email only (these are not available for in-app delivery).

  2. Discussions

    Notifications about discussions within the landscape, including posts, comments, replies, likes, and mentions.

    • Notify me if I get comments on my posts:

      • Be alerted when other users comment on posts you’ve made in the landscape.

    • Notify me if I get replies to comments I left on others’ posts:

      • Keeps you updated when someone replies to a comment you’ve made on another user’s post.

    • Notify me when someone likes my post or comment:

      • Tracks engagement with your posts and comments.

    • Notify me if someone mentions me in a post or comment:

      • Mentions (@yourname) in posts or comments will trigger notifications.Toggle Options:

    • Admins can enable or disable these notifications.

    • Delivery Methods: Choose between email, in-app notifications, or both.

  3. New Members

    • Notify me if my landscape gets a new application to join:

      • For public or private landscapes that require admin approval, you’ll be notified when a user applies to join.

      • Not applicable for paid landscapes, where payment grants immediate access.

    • Toggle Options:

      • Admins can enable or disable new member notifications.

      • Delivery Methods: Choose between email, in-app notifications, or both.


How Notifications Are Delivered

  1. In-App Notifications:

    • Appear in the notification drawer, accessible via the bell icon in the top navigation bar.

    • Ideal for real-time updates while actively using SiteCurve.

  2. Email Notifications:

    • Delivered directly to your inbox, providing flexibility to stay updated when not logged into SiteCurve.


Clarifications on Discussion Terminology

  • Posts: The original content users create on SiteCurve profiles, category curves, index curves, or location curves.

  • Comments: User responses to a post.

  • Replies: Responses to a comment made on a post.
