The Messaging Preferences section in Personal Settings allows users to control how they interact with others on SiteCurve via direct messaging. Here's a breakdown of the available options:
User Notifications
Allow users to message me directly on SiteCurve: Toggle this on or off depending on whether you want to permit other users to send you direct messages.
If turned off: No one will be able to initiate direct messages with you.
Blocked Users
View and Manage Blocked Users:
Any users you’ve blocked will be listed here. These users will no longer be able to message you.
To unblock a user, click the "X" next to their name in this list.
Blocking Users
You can block users directly from a chat conversation by selecting the "Block User" option in the chat modal.
Blocking a user will:
Prevent them from sending you further messages.
Remove their ability to interact with you via direct messages on SiteCurve.
Use Cases
Managing unwanted interactions: If a user becomes disruptive, you can block them directly from a chat window.
Restoring communication: If you change your mind, the Blocked Users list allows you to unblock individuals easily.
