The left-hand Landscapes panel in the SiteCurve dashboard is your quick-access hub for navigating all the landscapes you’ve joined or created. This guide will explain how it works, what the icons indicate, and how to manage the landscapes listed.

What Is the Landscapes Panel?

The Landscapes panel is located on the left side of your SiteCurve dashboard. It provides a shortcut to all landscapes you’ve joined or created, allowing you to quickly access their home screens.

Key Features of the Landscapes Panel

  1. List of Landscapes:

    • Displays up to 5 landscapes you’ve joined or created.

    • If you’ve joined more than 5 landscapes, a “Show More” button appears to reveal the full list.

  2. Icons Indicating Landscape Type:

    • Public: An open icon indicates landscapes available to all SiteCurve users.

    • Private: A lock icon indicates restricted landscapes, accessible only by invitation or approval.

    • Paid: A dollar icon indicates a paid landscape with an associated subscription fee.

  3. Quick Navigation:

    • Clicking a landscape in the panel takes you directly to its home screen, where you can view updates, discussions, and alerts.

Managing Landscapes in the Panel

Removing a Landscape from the List

  • If You’re Not the Creator:

    • You can leave the landscape directly from the Landscape Settings Screen. Once you leave, the landscape will no longer appear in your panel.

    • Leaving also stops any email or dashboard updates tied to the landscape.

  • If You’re the Creator:

    • To leave a landscape you created while keeping it active:

      1. Transfer Ownership: Assign another user as the landscape owner within the account.

      2. Archive the Landscape: If you don’t want it active anymore, archiving it will remove it from the panel and make it read-only for all users.

    • Without transferring ownership or archiving, you cannot leave the landscape.

Adding More Landscapes

  • Joining a new public, private, or paid landscape will automatically add it to this panel.

  • If you exceed 5 landscapes, the “Show More” button will allow you to access the additional entries.
